As a young girl growing up in New Mexico I found that riding horses gave me a sense of calm; a sense of calm that I later found on my yoga mat as well.
I began practicing yoga in 2000, but since my daughter was born in 1998, I had not yet discovered how yoga could enhance my pregnancy. My son’s birth in 2003 was greatly impact by the benefits of yoga as my pregnancy progressed. This contrast between my pregnancies is what inspired me to share my experience with other women.
In doing this, I’ve dedicated myself to teaching prenatal & postpartum yoga, leading self-care workshops, and offering support and guidance for pregnancy and motherhood.
